Tent Rental Size Guide
Select the equipment you need below, and note the square footage of each item. Simply add up the square footage to estimate tent size! Example: You plan to have 40 people at 8×30” tables (8 sq. ft. x 40), plus two buffet tables (200 sq. ft. x 2) and a cake table (100 sq. ft.). You’d need a tent that’s at least 820 sq. ft.
Note: An event’s total square footage, which includes seating, aisles and exits, may vary with event location and local codes.

When you know how many guests you’ll host – or have calculated the square footage of your event – it’s easy to estimate what size tent you’ll need.
